The Andrea Gail, an uninspected commercial fishing trawler set sail from Gloucester Harbour, Massachusetts, USA, on 20 September 1991, with 6 crew members on board. The crew had decided to go on a fishing trip in the area around the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Canada. The ship disappeared on 30 October 1991 in the so-called 'Perfect Storm'.
