Taki antler splits are pieces of super premium red deer antlers which are cut through the middle. This is ideal for dogs with lower interest in chews of particular difficulty and for heavy chewers where they can more easily get to the softer marrow and to dogs. When the dog's saliva comes in contact with the marrow, it triggers a smell and an enhanced taste that the dog takes great pleasure in and confirms that it is on the right track in solving the task - it gets its reward. Keep the dog under supervision when in possession of the antler piece.
